The Benefits.
The Lower Shore Clinic offers a rich benefit package that includes generous leave time and competitive salaries. Full time staff are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. A list of healthcare benefits is below.
Medical Insurance
The Organization will cover deductible costs for both medical plans: individual ($5,000) and family ($10,000).
Dental Insurance
Dental insurance is offered separately.
Group Term Life Insurance
The Organization will pay the premium cost for $20,000 of Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage.
Vision Benefit
Annual exams, copay for glasses according to plan parameters.
Voluntary Life
Additional coverage is available in increments from $25,000 to $200,000.
Dependent Care FSA
Staff can set aside pre-tax dollars towards dependent care expenses.
Short-Term Disability
The Organization pays the entire premium for short-term disability.
Long-Term Disability
The Organization pays the entire premium for long-term disability.

The Lower Shore Clinic is an approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. The NHSC Loan Repayment Program (LRP) offers primary medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health care clinicians the opportunity to have their student loans repaid, while earning a competitive salary, in exchange for providing health care in urban, rural, or tribal communities with limited access to care.
